The main function of the Senior Technician 3 Lead is to be responsible for the completion of inspection, including initial interpretation, reporting and billing. This position require a thoroughly familiar with the scope and methods of NDT being used and should perform assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Assistant Technicians. This position is also responsible for overseeing the quality assurance/quality control of the crews on same work assignment or location, and may provide customer interface for crews on same work assignment or locations.
Responsibilities
Set-up and calibrate all equipment to interpret, evaluate, and document results through formal reports.
Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications.
Interpret ILI data and client provided dig sheet
Inspect and interpret readings as required in real time, to determine areas of interest.
Fill out daily inspection reports and documentation in compliance with company specific and client specific procedures
Actively participate and follow the n company and client safety programs at all times.
Complete time and material sheets or daily workflow documents as required
Report results in a professional and timely manner
Ensuring strict adherence to safety, health, quality, and operational guidelines and procedure
Display strong organizational skills with equipment and data report retention
Adhere to company code of conduct and expectations
Provide direction and guidance with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the company and client.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and promote a positive customer service attitude internally and externally
Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in Kinder Morgan, Enbridge, TC Energy and OneOk field integrity programs preferred
Minimum of 3 years as a certified Level II in a Technician Role
