Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARY:


The Network Operations Controller provides essential administrative support to the Operations Control Center (OCC), streamlining essential duties to ensure operational efficiency. This role assists OCC Duty managers with administrative tasks and facilitates communication across departments.



Network Operations Controller Primary Duties:





  • Provide clerical tasks including data entry, document management and call screening.

  • Maintain and update Phone Contact Sheet, email distribution lists and operational records.

  • Update Parking Spot Notifications and coordinate Inbound CBP/Agriculture calls

  • Send Movement messages to all stations.

  • Audit Log Pages and flight related data as well as follow up on delays with stations and loadmasters

  • Coordinate charter requirements and assist with ground handling requests

  • Distribute flight payload 2 hours prior flight to assist flight followers with fueling to prepare fuel tinkering estimates.

  • Update Smart Kargo with schedule changes, aircraft assignments and reroutes.

  • Departs flight in SMART KARGO to ensure movements are being captured correctly.

  • Develop, monitor and adjust flight schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize operational disruptions.

  • Coordinate with other departments, including members of the OCC, Commercial and Ground Ops, to ensure smooth and efficient flight operations.

  • Makes sure loads getting off at a given stop will accommodate the North bound loads.

  • Update daily turnovers with details of departures and explanations of when delays are experienced.

  • Confirming station payloads and distributing load sheets.

  • Perform other duties as directed by OCC Duty Manager




Customer Service:





  • Monitor customer feedback and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained.

  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding flight schedules and any changes or disruptions.




Handling Irregular Operations:





  • Work closely with the OCC manager to monitor and manage flight disruptions and cancellations.

  • Collaborate with the OCC to develop contingency plans for operational disruptions, with a customer focus in delivering product in a safe, timely and efficient manner.

  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding cancellations and providing available solutions or recommendations.

  • Ensure all customer needs and concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.




JOB PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:





  • Ability to manage workflow and ensure smooth flight operations. Accuracy in data collection and timely information sharing. Familiarity with OCC administrative processes and operational systems.




PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


High School Diploma or GED.




  • 1-2 year experience in airline operations or related field.

  • AIMS and/or Smart Kargo experience preferred.

  • Must have strong analytical skills.

  • Preferred experience with MS Office products, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work in interdepartmental team settings.

  • Ability to multi-task, coordinate schedules and drive operations under high pressure situations.

  • Familiarity with Flight Operations and Dispatch procedures




PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:




Work Environment


This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbents may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekends.
