Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Mount Prospect, IL Clinical Trials Division.


Clinical Trials Division (CTD) partners with pharmaceutical and biotech customers around the world to ensure the right patients get the right therapies in the right doses at the right time - a concept that we internally accept as "There is a Patient Waiting."


How Will You Make an Impact?:


Packaging / Labeling Technician plays an important role in ensuring the information on the packaging, such as drug name, dosage, warnings, and instructions, is accurate, clear, and meets all regulatory standards.

• Label, assemble and package pharmaceutical products.
  
  


• Operate basic packaging equipment, perform manual or automated filling and packaging of blistered and bottled pharmaceutical products; disassemble and clean machinery.
  
  


• Ensure in-process inspections are performed.
  
  

Education:



High school diploma or equivalent required.


Experience:

• Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, packaging, production, lab setting or related field
  
  


• Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Basic digital literacy, data entry, log in/out, navigation
  
  


• Ability to read, understand and convey pertinent written and verbal information.
  
  


• Attention to detail and the ability to problem solve.
  
  

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Required to work in variety of clean room environments: Ambient lighting, Refrigerated ( 2 to 8° C), and Freezer (-20° C) Packaging areas (80-100%).
  
  


• Able to wear clean room gowning and (PPE) required; filtering face masks, PAPR, N- 95 masks, half face masks and safety glasses.
  
  


• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, peripheral.
  
  


• Able to pass TSA background check.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $17.80-$23.00.
