Project Manager - Commercial Doors & Hardware Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and coordinate projects within the commercial doors and hardware construction sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also managing client relationships and leading project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project planning sessions and coordinate project activities from initiation to closure.
Ensure project deliverables are met within the established timelines and budget constraints.
Manage project scope, schedule, and resources effectively to meet client requirements.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
Utilize software such as, Avaware, Comsense, E/pws or Software for Hardware
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
Provide regular updates to stakeholders and address any concerns in a timely manner.
Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with Division 8 and hardware specifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in construction or hardware industries.
Proficient in project management tools and software such as DOORS, Comsense, and Avaware.
Strong knowledge of Division 8 requirements and commercial doors hardware specifications.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
Ability to analyze data and generate accurate estimates for project costs and timelines.
