Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek a Micro Project Manager to work on a contract in Victoria, TX.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Micro Project Manager with 1-4 years of experience to lead and manage smaller-sized projects (up to $500M). This role is ideal for professionals transitioning from Project Engineering (PE) to Project Management (PM) and looking to gain growth experience in a leadership capacity. A background in Industrial Engineering (IE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME) is highly beneficial.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Lead and organize brownfield projects at the Victoria Facility, covering a wide range of scopes.
Drive process changes involving piping, equipment modifications, and electrical system upgrades.
Provide engineering construction leadership, ensuring successful project execution.
Lead and manage teams effectively, fostering collaboration and accountability.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills to handle diverse project demands.
Apply broad engineering experience to problem-solving and project planning.
EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) background may not be a strong fit for this role.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
1-4 years of experience, preferably managing smaller-scale projects (~$500M).
Background in Industrial Engineering (IE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME) is beneficial but not required.
Engineering degree preferred but not mandatory.
Refinery experience is required; no specific engineering discipline is necessary.
Experience in utilities or refinery environments is acceptable, with no strict preference.
Oil & Gas industry experience is valuable, but not from an oil field operations background.
