Receptionist (1+ Years of Experience) - Midsize Law Firm
Location: Garden City, NY
A reputable midsize law firm is seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join their Garden City, NY office. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the ideal candidate will be well-presented, articulate, and capable of communicating effectively. The Receptionist will play a key role in providing excellent service with a positive attitude and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, in-office
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break)
Key Responsibilities:
Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
Answer, screen, and manage telephone calls
Perform data entry, timesheet management, and calendar coordination
Oversee conference room management, including coordinating with Office Services for guest departures, cleaning, and supply stocking; provide refreshments and ensure rooms are cleaned after meetings
Collaborate with IT Manager, Office Administrator, and Office Services Manager to address technology, facility, and office-related issues
Coordinate with building management for miscellaneous services and liaise with vendors
Distribute questionnaires to visitors and offer masks as necessary

Qualifications:

A 2-year or 4-year college degree is preferred, but not required

Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
