We support mission-critical facilities and industrial clients across diverse sectors, providing commissioning, testing, maintenance, and engineering services that drive excellence in power system performance.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, configuration, and integration of SCADA and automation systems for substations, switchgear, and critical power infrastructure.Develop and implement HMI (Human Machine Interface), RTU/PLC logic, and communication protocols (e.g., DNP3, Modbus, IEC 61850).Collaborate with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure system functionality, cybersecurity compliance, and performance.Conduct field testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of SCADA systems on-site.Review and develop control schematics, network architecture, and panel layouts.Prepare detailed technical documentation, including functional specifications, network diagrams, and O&M manuals.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and field technicians.Ensure compliance with applicable NETA, IEEE, NERC CIP, and other industry standards.Support business development by contributing to proposals, system architecture design, and customer presentations.Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.7+ years of experience in SCADA/Automation engineering, ideally within the power utility or industrial sectors.Strong knowledge of SCADA protocols, substation automation, and protection systems.Experience with systems like SEL, Schweitzer, GE, Siemens, ABB, or similar platforms.Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.Proficiency in SCADA software from various vendors.Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with renewable energy, microgrids, or energy storage integration.Physical Requirements:Sitting for Extended Periods Working at a computer for long hours. Typing & Manual Dexterity Using a keyboard and mouse for documentation, emails, and reports. Good Vision Reading documents, analyzing reports, and reviewing video footage if applicable. Occasional Travel Some remote roles may require occasional site visits or training sessions. Clear Speech & Hearing Communicating via phone, video calls, or webinars.Required Abilities: Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Complete a satisfactory criminal background check. Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.
