Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
3-5+ years of experience with Infrastructure automation tools(Terraform), focusing on IaC and immutable infrastructure.
3+ years of experience with GCP cloud offerings
Develop an in-depth understanding of Google Cloud's GKW/Anthos product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the root cause for customer-reported issues, building tools, and faster diagnosis.
Software development experience in one of the OO programming languages: Java, Go, and or Python
Understanding of good cloud architecture to ensure high availability while ensuring the highest level of security and visibility.
Strong background in Containers & Orchestration Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
Understand Traffic Flow Management, including the Service Mesh concept, with experience in Istio preferred, and how GTM and LTMs manage traffic flows.
Experience with Logging and Monitoring tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
FinOps (cloud) domain knowledge preferred.
Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions.
Confirmed support of production systems at scale.
Willingness to learn new technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential.
Act as consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
Terraform Associate Certification is preferred
