Job Description:

SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Technical Services Representative. The successful candidate will utilize their technical expertise and analytical skills to provide exceptional advice and support on a diverse range of products with technical specifications. This field-based position plays a critical role in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and gathering essential data for RFPs to enhance Imperative's technical offerings to the marketplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Support & Problem Solving:
  • Perform comprehensive system analysis, interpret data, and deliver detailed written recommendations to ensure optimal customer operations.
  • Successfully identify and address technical issues, providing innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Conduct site surveys, product application audits, and field evaluations for both existing customers and new accounts.

Collaboration & Customer Engagement:
  • Work closely with the Business Development team to support the launch of new applications and services.
  • Provide on-time technical support to both new and existing customers, ensuring efficient troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Follow established protocols to adhere to all Imperative Chemical Partners HSE guidelines and customer safety standards.

Project Management & Reporting:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing based on urgency, project origin date, and internal deadlines.
  • Ensure timely submission of detailed reports from field visits, including observations, technical assessments, mechanical process changes, pictures, drawings, and comprehensive write-ups.
  • Complete all details required on Tech Service Request forms with accuracy and efficiency.

Continuous Improvement & Process Enhancement:
  • Use data and observations to recommend and implement mechanical process improvements where applicable.
  • Ensure surveys and technical support requests are addressed within a standard 3-day lead time if no other projects are pending.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical expertise and service capabilities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Education:
  • Associate's Degree.
  • Experience:
  • 2+ years in a Technical Role.
  • 2+ years in the Oil & Gas Chemicals industry.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience:
  • 6+ years in the Oil & Gas Chemicals industry.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Must complete and pass all required pre-employment screenings.
