SUMMARY:
The IT Data & Analytics Manager will be a key driver of our digital transformation, leading our data-driven transformation by developing and executing a robust analytics strategy to effectively collect, analyze and interpret data, implement modern data analysis techniques and ensure data quality and integrity across multiple datasets.
ESSENTAIL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
Collaborate with the CIO and business leaders to define and implement a comprehensive data and analytics roadmap.
Implement and maintain databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Systems and tooling include SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, and Data Factory.
Drive our analytics strategy to differentiate the business by ensuring scalable integration across ERP, CRM, manufacturing, and third?party systems.
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
Present data-driven recommendations to the executive team.
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulatory bodies.
Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to understand data needs.
Orchestrate the design and deployment of real?time dashboards, predictive models, and self?service analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
Translate complex data sets into actionable insights that optimize supply chain, manufacturing, pricing, customer segmentation, and product performance.
Partner with executive leadership to identify high?value analytics initiatives and shape business strategy through data.
Oversee reporting modernization and digital transformation projects, coordinating with external partners to ensure timely, cost?effective delivery.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational efficiency.
Act as a strategic advisor to senior management by communicating technical insights in a business context.
Foster a data?driven culture by collaborating with teams across operations, sales, marketing, and finance.
Mentor and upskill team members, promoting continuous learning and innovation.
Lead consolidation, cleansing, and integration of data from various systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Champion the adoption of modern analytics tools and drive process improvements that enhance overall operational performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
Proven hands?on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including Microsoft Synapse and Microsoft Data Factory.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
Solid understanding of ERP, CRM, and other enterprise data systems.
Demonstrated experience in building scalable data pipelines and integrating disparate data sources.
Excellent analytical, problem?solving, and project management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work cross?functionally.
Ability to thrive in a fast?paced, multi?hat environment and drive strategic initiatives.
Preferred:
Experience in the plastics manufacturing industry or a similar mid?sized manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications for predictive analytics and operational improvement.
Proven success in establishing or scaling a data analytics function.
Experience managing external consulting partners to complement internal efforts.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
