Uber Freight is looking for a System Integration Analyst II to join our Last Mile team. In this role, you will be working directly with new and existing shippers and service providers analyzing their parcel transportation needs through an information technology scope and collaborating with teams within Uber Freight on innovative solutions to meet their needs. This role will require knowledge of IT system integrations (EDI and API), troubleshooting and database queries using SQL. You will also be immersed in supply chain and shipping processes across a wide array of industries that is constantly evolving around analytics and technology.
What the Candidate Will Do
Elicit, understand, document, test, and support, business requirements presented by internal and external stakeholders; Build a business solution encompassing industry standard best practices; Effectively convey business requirements to business users, developers, and customers
Learn Operations use of the system and identify opportunities for improvement
Execute and participate in the testing process for large projects, including unit, integration, regression, and performance
Plan and schedule the sequencing of events involved in large scale efforts based on Uber Freight Development Cycles, including the coordination of cross-team participants
Provide support to Developers and Technical Support, and provide testing support to QA during functional, regression, and user acceptance testing
Basic Qualifications
Must have prior parcel experience in the transportation, logistics or supply chain space.
2+ years of Business Analysis experience.
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of Business Analysis experience AND Transportation, Logistics, or Supply chain experience.
Knowledge of basic project management principles
Advanced functions of Microsoft Tools
Parcel experience
Experience leading small teams
Transportation industry knowledge, including key terminology; and general knowledge of primary customer industries; Knowledge of mode-centric elements by customer industry
Knowledge of SQL
