Located on a beautiful peninsula in San Juan, Puerto Rico, it is a vibrant destination beach-front resort! Sitting on 17 acres of tropical landscape, the resort is just a short distance from Old San Juan, the vibrant Condado district and the Puerto Rico Convention Center. Featuring a picturesque ocean-side boardwalk, 652 guest rooms and 65,000 square feet of meeting space.

The Ideal Candidate must have Security, Customer Service and Dispatcher related experience

Shift Pattern:Full Availability throughout the week. Work on Weekend and Holidays.

Pay Rate:$13.00 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Security Dispatcher, you would be responsible for monitoring life safety systems and dispatching Security Officers to ensure the safety of guests and team members and the security of the hotel and property in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Screen people entering the dock & employee entrance area for their purpose and authorization.
• Receive, record, lost and found . Research and respond to inquiries from guests concerning status of items.
• Provide accurate information to people inquiring about directions, hours of hotel operation, etc..
• Monitor life safety systems

• Answer telephone calls, respond to guest inquiries and requests and dispatch Security Officers to respond to guest calls in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Track guest inquiries, reports and requests via a manual log and/or an automated property management system
• Manage key distribution (i.e. supply room keys, guest room keys, etc.), as needed
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities in the Security department, as directed

• Prior experience working as security officer or with safety and security systems.
• Prior experience in the hospitality industry, preferred
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Computer knowledge in MS Office and to monitor and record life safety systems
