Overview
Working closely with our Agile development teams to create automated tooling to support the Software Development Lifecycle, the DevSecOps Engineer will accomplish the following:
Design, Develop, maintain, and secure continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) solutions in various orchestrator tooling
Design, Develop, maintain, and secure OCI-compliant container solutions for Kubernetes environments
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to build and configure high performing, scalable, secure cloud-based infrastructure
Support the deployment of microservices to cloud or on-prem hosted Kubernetes environments
Responsibilities
Minimum 4+ years total IT experience
Minimum 2 years of professional Developer experience developing features for microservice applications
Minimum 2+ years and high-level of proficiency creating CI/CD pipelines in tools like Jenkins. Experience with Harness is a bonus
Minimum 2 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
Minimum 3+ years and high-level of proficiency creating CI/CD pipelines
Must possess demonstrated experience with securing containerized environments
Must be highly proficient with Linux
Experience and understanding of the entireSoftware Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Must be proficient with Bash, Python, or similar scripting
Experience with IaaS; implementing scalable cloud-based environments and systems; service-oriented architectures and microservices; deploying resilient, scalable, high-throughput systems that process large amounts of data
Experience with Infrastructure as Codeand infrastructure testing strategies (we use Terraform)
Experience automating SDLC pipelines with manual gated production approvals in GitFlow-based workflows.
Experience with systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, logging
Have effective verbal and non-verbal communication with peers and clients
Ability to work in an open team environment

Must possess demonstrated experience with secure development, coding, engineering practices for resolving CVE Vulnerabilities and STIGs via Twistlock, Sonarqube, and NexusIQ scans
Prior experience working in fully remote capacity
Security Clearance: Must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship and have or are able to attain a Government Agency Suitability Clearance.
Qualifications
Prior experience with cyber, information, or application security tools such as: Twistlock/Prism Cloud Compute, SonarQube, Splunk, etc.
Hands-on programming experience with Groovy, Python, Springboot Java, and Javascript.
Experience with DevSecOps
Familiarity with AWS databases, IAM management, and VPC configuration
Understanding of Everything as Code
