Full Stack Developer
CMA 5054-585

CALIBRE Systems, inc, an Employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking a Full Stack Developer with a strong understanding of AWS services. The Full Stack Developer will work directly with the technical lead and other development staff to design, develop, and maintain our web applications, leveraging AWS services to ensure high availability and performance. The position will also assist in sustaining the end-state solution. This position will be remote.

Candidates MUST have an active SECRET Clearance. In addition, candidates also must have a CompTIA Security + certification and at least one AWS certification.

The Full Stack Developer’s primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications and integrate RESTful APIs.
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable solutions using AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS, and others)
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and other DevOps tools.
  • Implement best practices for coding and testing.
  • Applying secure code documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance
  • Working with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Sustaining the end-state solution through development in AWS.

  • Extensive experience with AWS services, including Glue, Athena, QuickSight, Lambda, Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and others.
  • Experience developing in an AWS cloud environment.
  • Experience with database management systems such as MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proficiency with server-side languages such as C#, Python, Ruby, and .NET.
  • Experience with CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, HTML, and APIs.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience with Docker containerization and orchestration tools.

Desired Skills

  • AWS Certified Developer.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud migration and application refactoring.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • 5+ Years Experience (progressive experience in building large-scaled software applications, at least one year of experience in building serverless applications in AWS).
  • US Citizen
  • Must have an Active Secret clearance
  • Must have a CompTIA Security + certification
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
  • AWS certification
