Role description:

Arcadis is seeking motivated Architecture interns to join our Miami, FL office during summer 2025. Arcadis is a global team of dedicated and experienced architects, engineers, planners, designers, and technology professionals who share a common desire: to help our clients create livable, sustainable, and advanced urban environments. This internship provides hands-on experience working on architectural projects while collaborating with seasoned professionals.

Role accountabilities:

Position responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:


  • Contribute to various stages of architectural projects, including preliminary design development, schematic design, working drawings, and construction documents.
  • Participate in possible site visits for ongoing projects.
  • Work under the direct supervision of senior staff members.
  • Assist with 3D visualization, modeling, prototyping, and component design.
  • Support the preparation of client presentations.
  • Perform entry-level design and technical tasks, including revising drawings, conducting research, and preparing presentations.
  • Manage workload within project schedules, learning essential time management skills.
  • Collaborate with team members on multiple projects.
  • Assist the studio, department, or office with file organization, resource materials, and displays.
  • Support organizing office/studio events.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program and have completed at least three years of design studio coursework.
  • Knowledge of design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, visualization, and communication tools commonly used in architecture, including Revit, AutoCAD, 3D tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and experience in 3D VR tools.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $17.00 - $31.00 / hour. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
