Job Description:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION


Mechanical Engineer in the Business Innovation Technolgy organization will be responsible for specific machinery within equipment portfolio with focus on smooth production in all production hubs. Acting as primary support for Product Engineers and other BIT functions.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow the procedures and guidelines of the "Product Management" according to Quality Management System
• Implementation of Industry standards into machinery (ISO / ANSI / OSHA / EN, etc)
• Drawing/BOM maintenance. Collecting feedback from production hub
• Generate assembly drawing and layouts for special orders and sales inquires
• Solving production claims and handling B/C-parts non-conformities
• Creating machine design based on the calculation outputs from R&D or inputs from Product Engineer
• Manage standard order handling according promised lead time for Engineering order execution. Creation of A-BOM
• Identify needed electrical approvals of components and find new electrical parts accordingly for customer specific orders
• Close collaboration and support across all production hub departments, as well as Project Management department
• Support Product Engineers in improvement projects
• Contributing to the overall Engineering strategy

TECHNICAL SKILLS (knowledge)

• Basic knowledge on machinery and engineering principles
• Basic knowledge about automation principles
• Basic knowledge about industry standards, safety and legal requirements in machine design
• Knowledge about manufacturing methods (machining, welding, casting, etc)
• Knowledge about GPS (GD&T)
• Skilled in problem solving
• Skilled within one or more of the following software's - Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk vault, AutoCAD, SAP
• High level of English proficiency

SCHOOL EDUCATION


Minimum:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Machine Design

Desirable:

• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

EXPERIENCE


Minimum:

• Previous work experience in Engineering / Industrial Machinery industries

Preferred:

• 3-5 years of work experience in Engineering / Industrial Machinery industries
