Service Captain at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in New York, New York

Job Description:

Our client, a global asset manager firm, is seeking a Service Captain in NYC! The hours are 6:30am-3:30pm and will be 5 days in office. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with a successful and collaborative firm!


Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day food and beverage service and operations


• Lead and oversee the service team


• Coordinate service schedules, meetings, events, and maintenance


• Greet guests hospitably with active engagement


• Oversee barista team and step in for barista service when needed


• Observe and manage restaurant operations inventory


• Assist the culinary team for breakfast and lunch family style setup


• Maintain dining room cleanliness and organization

Qualifications:

• Strong service experience required, barista experience is a plus!


• Vocal with a sense of urgency while maintaining poise under pressure, resourceful and proactive with good judgment


• Detail-oriented, self-confident, ability to prioritize time sensitive tasks, all with a positive, above-and-beyond approach


• Team player with a "no job is too big or too small" mindset, comfortable working with all organizational levels

Compensation/Benefits:

• Up to $85K base depending on experience + bonus + paid overtime
