Job Summary | The Department of Integrated Strategic Communication in the College of Communicationand Information at the University of Kentucky invites applications for up to two (2) full timelecturers in Integrated Strategic Communication with an anticipated start date of August16, 2025. Qualifications & Responsibilities:Duties include teaching 7-8 courses per academic year with the possibility of curriculum development or service to the department. We are seeking candidates with professional and/or teachingexperience in strategic communication, including at least two of the following areas: research methods for strategic communication, ethics, data insights, consumer insights, account management, media planning, sports promotion, strategic visual communication, and elective courses across the integrated disciplines of advertising, public relations and salespromotion. The nine-month appointment for lecturers begins formally August 16, 2025, and ends May15, 2026; however some preparation work will begin August 1, 2025. Initial terms forlecturers are for one year. Appointment may be renewed for additional terms based ondepartmental needs, funding ability, and candidate performance. A terminal degree or amaster’s degree in strategic communication or related field and relevant professional experience are required; college-level teaching experience is preferred. About the Department:The Department of Integrated Strategic Communication offers a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelorof Science, a minor, and a graduate certificate in Integrated Strategic Communication. Thedepartment has full national accreditation by the Accrediting Council on Education inJournalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC).
