Liberty FCU, a full-service credit union, is seeking an Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist. This position will play a critical role in assessing risk exposure, supporting internal and external audits, and managing compliance with industry standards and regulations. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform CIS Benchmark audits and provide recommendations for updates
Utilize DLP software to review daily alerts and escalate as needed
Utilize software to monitor credit unions information systems with overexposed information and work with business units to assign data owner
Utilize software to audit credit union assets for unauthorized software
Perform user access reviews on designated systems in accordance with policy
Assist with management of Access Control System and company cardholder information
Assist with Vendor Management program as needed
Continuous pursuit of balance between thorough data security and efficient, functional computing services
Interface with IT units and business partners to provice guidance and support
Perform security and compliance assessments on new and existing systems, processes, technology
Work with various business units to ensure controls are adequate, appropriate, and effective
Perform periodic gap assessments to validate compliance on an ongoing basis
Support internal and external audit process for relevant compliance
Stay up to date and informed on developing regulatory concerns and changing IT and information security trends

Essential Skills and Experience:
Associate degree preferred in Information Technology Security or equivalent combination of education, experience, and formal training in Information Security Governance/GRC
Preferred experience with IT GRC platforms
Preferred experience iwth IT governance, risk, and compliance management
Ability to excel in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
Familiarity with security frameworks
Strong understanding of fundamental information security concepts and technology
Preferred industry certifications such as CISA, CISM and/or specific industry training and certifications
Preferred experience with legal and regulatory compliance standards
Ability to analyze data and information
Strong work ethic with attention to detail
Enterprise level troubleshooting skills are essential to success
Ability to work individually and in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Some travel may be required
