Our client is seeking a Dry Utilities Engineer to assist with projects on their Utilities team. This role will be based out of their Washington D.C office. The Dry Utilities Engineer will assist team members on all phases of projects with an emphasis on developing design and technical documentation expertise.

Key Responsibilities
Assist senior staff members in the development of design and technical documents through all phases of projects using AutoCAD and Civl 3D software platforms
Assist in the development of drawings and work with internal production staff to meet deadlines for dry utility projects that include specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, cost estimates, and budgets associated with the planning, design, permitting, and construction of dry utility systems (power, gas, telecommunications).
Assist in the preparation of feasibility studies, construction plans, and reports for all dry utility designs.
Maintain notes during calls and meetings and maintain field notes from site visits.
Learn from previous design efforts to build skillsets.
Preferred Qualifications
1 year + of experience Civil 3D, or AutoCAD experience
Basic knowledge and experience with local regulations, guides, standards, codes methods, practices, and engineering principles.
Communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
Show dedication, effort, and initiative.
Have a passion for collaboration throughout the design and execution of projects.
