The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Responsibilities
Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with the client
Ensure all materials are released, personnel is scheduled, evaluate cost of labor and develop labor forecasts for budget.
Resolve all issues with projects to ensure that the Company is paid for job changes and that the General Contractor maintains accurate and efficient schedules.
Responsible for strategic planning, time management and project organization.
Prepare change order estimates and maintain change order log.
Prepare construction budget.
Review contract scope and terms and conditions
Qualifications
High School Diploma; 3 to 6 years of Project Manager experience
Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
Strong management and leadership skills
Experience with union workforces, labor rate calculations and collective bargaining agreements preferred
Thorough knowledge of project scheduling, project cost tracking and procurement
Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with estimating software a plus.
