Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with the client
  • Ensure all materials are released, personnel is scheduled, evaluate cost of labor and develop labor forecasts for budget.
  • Resolve all issues with projects to ensure that the Company is paid for job changes and that the General Contractor maintains accurate and efficient schedules.
  • Responsible for strategic planning, time management and project organization.
  • Prepare change order estimates and maintain change order log.
  • Prepare construction budget.
  • Review contract scope and terms and conditions

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma; 3 to 6 years of Project Manager experience
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Experience with union workforces, labor rate calculations and collective bargaining agreements preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of project scheduling, project cost tracking and procurement
  • Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with estimating software a plus.
