Senior Information Cyber Security Lead (Western Union, LLC, Denver, CO) Define, implement, and maintain cyber security practices and technologies to ensure appropriate protection of company data. Demonstrate knowledge of industry standards, security frameworks, and relevant regulations with the ability to cross-train new staff. Conduct risk assessments of information systems and suppliers utilizing strong policy and process knowledge, as well as skills and expertise with a variety of technologies. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Asses third party suppliers of outsourced services. Partner with sales organization to support client inquiries of company cyber security posture. Manage remediation plans associated with issues identified in the environment. Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system, security tool, or modification of an existing system. Confer with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for data processing projects. Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as security elements pertaining to software system design or maintenance. Oversee and manage program requirements through an understanding of change management practices including DevOps techniques, Cloud, and On-premises infrastructure. Oversee, monitor, and review end-to-end program requirements and junior staff's final assessments reports for quality output and timeliness of deliverables. Provide guidance, mentorship and feedback to junior staff facilitating understanding of cyber security practices and adherence to process. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer and Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as an IT Security Analyst, Systems Analyst, or any occupation/position/job title involving Cyber Security or Risk Management. Must also have experience in the following: 5 years of professional experience utilizing IT and Cyber Security Infrastructure concepts to safeguard from internal threats and mitigations measures; 5 years of professional experience identifying, evaluating, and assessing cyber security risks across various information and cyber security domains utilizing ISO 27001 and 27002 standards, including software development life cycle, human resources, third party management, access controls, security policy, asset management, mobile device management, communication and operations management, facility and data center physical and environmental security, incident management, business continuity and disaster recovery, encryption, and cloud security; 5 years of professional experience conducting end-to-end third-party risk assessments including the planning, testing, and reporting phases; 5 years of professional experience developing cybersecurity risk assessment program governance documentation and controls aligned to ISO 27001 industry standards, NIST 800-53 security framework, and relevant regulations; and 5 years of professional experience executing telephonic and onsite third-party risk assessments.
