Job Description:

Medical Laboratory Scientist II (multiple positions) sought by AdventHealth Tampa in Tampa, FL, to be resp for performing various routine or special clinical Lab tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis & treatment of diseases, for Lab testing procedures, analytical testing of blood &/or other human biological specimens, & pre- & post-analytical work processes; performing, documenting, monitoring, interpreting, evaluating & reporting on qlty control testing & trends & assurance findings to Lab mgr; performing & documenting instrument maintenance, & calibration; implmtg improvement measures; verifying validity of test methods to incl patient Prep'n, & pre- & postanalytic phases of testing & results reporting; performing Immunohematology procedures to ensure safety of blood transfusions, & also Phlebotomy, when needed.
