Our client is seeking a Oracle ERP BA in Vienna, VA.


Role Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, leveraging data to develop and implement agile solutions that meet the needs of our finance and accounting departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and data analysis as well as experience working within agile frameworks. Candidates must have strong familiarity with Oracle Fusion ERP Financials Modules, including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets. This expertise should encompass both functional and technical aspects, ensuring seamless integration and optimization within the financial operations. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating and conducting complex system analyses, feasibility studies, and implementation studies under minimal supervision. Works with the business to understand their needs enhance business process by promoting new functionality and data-driven decisioning. Using knowledge of the organization's technology and target architecture initiatives, assist the business implementing a strategic vision aligned with the enterprise. Understand business needs and identify opportunities for new analysis capabilities and process optimization to meet business objectives using cutting-edge data tools and methods. Act as a consultant and liaison to Finance Leadership for financial data governance initiatives. Considered a stakeholder/contributor on complex systems projects and project teams. To lead full lifecycle project implementation. To exercise advanced technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis.
Responsibilities (Please replace all current responsibilities)
• Conduct and/or facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, validating and documenting results
• Develop test plans, test criteria, scenarios and documentation; ensure acceptance of delivered solutions
• Provide training and support to finance and accounting users of the systems and processes that you have developed.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify pain points, and opportunities for improvement.


Skills & Requirements


• Experience using/implementing Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP Applications
• Experience using/implementing/supporting General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Cash Management, Expenses applications.
• Familiar with Data Engineering concepts
• Familiar with the concepts and application of data mapping and building requirements.
• Familiar with Data Integration, Data Governance and Data Warehousing
• Familiar with the use of standard ETL tools and techniques
• Extensive experience in problem resolution including determining root cause, scope and scale of issues
• Extensive experience leading and/or working within highly collaborative teams
• Extensive experience in market/consumer research, project management, and analysis in support of strategic planning initiatives
• Expert verbal and written communication skills
• Expert word processing and spreadsheet software skills
• Expert database and presentation software skills
• Expert skill identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending solutions
• Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP Applications
• Experience with ETL tools
• Power BI or Tableau experience
• Proficient with SQL or Python
• Proficient with advanced data analysis techniques using SQL or Python
• Proficient with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau or Microsoft PowerBI
• Experience working in an agile environment and an understanding of agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity in R, Python or SAS
• Familiarity in Data Interpretation, Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis
• Familiarity in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics and modeling; demonstrated success in building models that are deployed and have made measurable business impact
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines.
• Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Workday is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud computing technologies such as: Apache Spark, Azure Data Factory, Azure DevOps, Azure ML (Machine Learning), Hadoop, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus
• Strong analytical background and experience with one or more of the following Oracle ERP Cloud reporting tools: Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BI Publisher); Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI); Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW)
• Master's Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience
