JOB DESCRIPTION
HEALTHCARE INSURANCE COLLECTOR: DETAILS

Title: Healthcare Collector
Location: Brentwood TN
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $21-22/hour
Type: Contract to Hire
Hours: 6am-2:30 pm | 7am-4pm | 8am-5pm | Monday - Friday
Additional: This is 100% on-site during the contract but has the ability to go hybrid once you are a permanent employee



REQUIREMENTS: HEALTHCARE INSURANCE COLLECTOR

* 1+ years of recent healthcare insurance collections experience. Working in insurance / commercial claims collections
* Proficient in Excel
* Ability to utilize Microsoft Office efficiently, including Outlook (email and calendar), and Excel is a must
* Must be professional
* Excellent communication
* Knowledge of how to use a phone line system, copier/scanner, fax, and email is a must



RESPONSIBILITIES: HEALTHCARE INSURANCE COLLECTOR

* Ability to work in an office, in person.
* Collections for multiple clients
* Ability to read an insurance contract and monitor claims accordingly
* Track trending issues
* Work with multiple systems daily
* Review EOB's to identify payment errors, denials and low reimbursement
* Identify and correct claim errors in a clearing house
* Make phone calls to insurance companies for claim follow up
* Research account receivables for both Medicare and Non-Medicare collections
