What to Expect
The Sr. Manager, Mobility Technology Delivery (Salesforce) is responsible for leading the design, development, deployment and maintenance of innovative solutions using the latest tools and technologies. Working closely with Project Managers, this role has overall responsibility for the technical deliverables of the project and managing internal team and external vendor partners. This role will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to internal HCA departments, HQ global matrix partners and Vendor Partners in delivering technical projects. In addition, this role is responsible for establishing and implementing standards, processes and procedures.
What You Will Do
1. Project Management:
• Lead technical delivery for one or more projects on time and within budget
• Partner with leaders to understand business problems and define and shape technology solutions working with technology teams.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on technical project deliverables.
• Create the strategy and determine the procedures for timely and cost-effective acquisition, use, and reallocation of internal and vendor resources to provide quality products and services to the business.
• Manage, track and follow-up of action items, issues and conflicts as needed.
2. Documentation:
• Create, implement and maintain documentation for standards, processes and procedures.
3. Innovation Solutions:
• Maintain awareness of technology trends and innovations.
• Provide ongoing consultation to HCA Business by applying design-thinking principles to provide innovative solutions that address and solve business needs, issues and pain points.
4. Communications:
• Effectively communicate technical recommendations and build consensus/approval with varied audiences, ranging from executives, business and IT teams.
• Monitor and actively participate in the communication activities.
• Create project status reports and metrics.
5. Lead, mentor, and develop team members by providing direction, performance feedback, and support to ensure effective collaboration, professional growth, and achievement of organizational and personal goals.
Qualifications
What You Will Bring
• Minimum 8 years progressive related experience in the Finance Industry, or Captive Automotive Finance industry.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce projects, either as part of an implementation team or as a user of Salesforce in a business environment.
• Familiarity with Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• MBA a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.) and features like automation, reporting, and integrations.
• Ability to gather requirements and break them down into the technical tasks required to complete a project phase.
• Takes initiative to understand the business processes, make sound recommendations and implement solutions that drive end to end digitization.
• Experience with project management tools and applications.
• Ability to plan delivery in iterative sprints.
• Ability to recognize agile methodologies suitable for the project and able to adapt and formulate hybrid approaches.
• Ability to recognize technology risks and plan to mitigate.
• Strong project management skills including proven ability to decide the resources required for a project and to provide top down and bottom-up estimates against a scope.
• Ability to manage one or multiple agile development teams - onsite and offshore.
• Strive to learn new skills and stay abreast of technical developments, successfully applying them to work practices.
• Professional written and verbal communication - able to talk for technology to non-technical audience.
• Ability to thrive when faced with new challenges, view challenges as opportunities and constantly look to improve project deliverables.
• Champion continuous improvement and best in class software development process.
Work Environment
Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. Successful candidates may be hired anywhere in the salary range based on these factors. It is uncommon to hire candidates at or near the top of the range.
