BMW Financial Services NA, LLC was established in 1993, supporting the sales and marketing of BMW products. Subsequently, we have expanded beyond the leasing, retail and commercial financing of a traditional captive-finance company offering a broad variety of products tailoredfor the BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce customer.Be a part of our exciting growth by expressing an interest in our Trainee, Credit Management and Risk Relevant Collections, position located in Columbus, OH.

The new graduate trainee program is a dynamic 18-month rotational program designed for previous BMW interns. Through this immersive experience, trainees will gain valuable insights into the business processes, strategy, culture, and BMW Group brands from a local perspective. By rotating through various departments, trainees will develop a well-rounded understanding of the organization and its operations. This program provides an exceptional opportunity for recent graduates to kickstart their career with the BMW Group.

As a Trainee, Credit Management and Risk Relevant Collections, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of AI use cases for application within the department. These use cases include Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models. The AI use cases will contribute toward enhancing efficiencies and decision-making efficiency. The following responsibilities are for the initial rotation and may vary over the course of the program.

WHAT AWAITS YOU.


  • Development and industrialization of Data Science and AI usecases,

  • Work closely and collaborate with business partners and IT departments while development of AI requirements and usecases.

  • Adhere to MDLC (Model Development Life Cycle) and MLOPS (Machine Learning Operations) policy and procedures set forth by SF-2-US.

  • Communicate business requirements and results to key stakeholders and other business partners for feedback.

  • Document and publish the work at the end of each rotation per guidelines set forth in respective department.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.


  • Previous Intern with BMW of North America (Rolls Royce, MINI, Motorrad), Financial Services, Bank, Designworks or Shared Services.

  • Completed a bachelor's or master's degree, no more than 14-months from an accredited college or university prior to the start of the program. Field of study preferred: Computer Science, Information Technology or Similar.

  • Experience with Programming Languages Python, UNIX or SQL.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for an immigration-related employment benefit now or in the future.

  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major) .

  • Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript .

  • Ability to work full-time.

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule.

Relocation is not available for this position.
This is a hybrid role that requires regular attendance in the office.

The hourly rate for Master's level Trainees is $30.24.
The hourly rate for Bachelor's level Trainees is $23.10.

All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
