ABOUT THE ROLE

The Senior Director, Sales for SCJ Professional in the US will have extensive experience leading large, complex sales organizations; developing and driving execution of topline growth strategies; building, coaching, developing, and promoting high functioning, successful teams, and must be well versed in CRM adoption and management. The preferred candidate will have significant experience in B2B environments and will be equally adept at working with both end users and distributors. The candidate must have a demonstrable track record for delivering growth and meeting/exceeding targets/expectations. The successful candidate will also possess:


  • Significant revenue management experience and knowledge of the levers (volume, price, mix)

  • The ability to work well cross functionally, specifically with marketing, ops and finance functions amongst others.

  • The ability to identify growth trends and emerging channel trends and ability to develop plans to ensure that we are capturing our fair share of the growth.

  • Must be comfortable leading change management, when necessary.

This is an on-site role in Charlotte, NC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organizational Development


  • Act as a role model for the company in all its business activities.

  • Set clear expectations regarding, what success looks like.

  • Ensure that the team has the tools/resources necessary to deliver against the expectations.

  • Ensure that systems are established to facilitate tracking and measuring performance against the critical KPIs.

  • Ensure that processes and support are in place to coach, train, develop and upgrade talent, if necessary.

Distributor/End User Coverage


  • Develop and maintain a powerful network of selective large and capable distributors across the country.

  • Establish distributor/key end user business plans and incentive programs in accordance with company best practice, fully embracing and leveraging established best practices.

  • Maintain personal involvement with our key selected major distributors and end users.

SCJP Sales Management Best Practices


  • Ensure the entire organization is trained, has adopted, and is actively leveraging the Sales Methodology, without exception.

  • Drive consistent utilization of CRM across entire organization.

  • Work closely with marketing regarding lead generation.

Competitive Reconnaissance

  • Provide deep insight into competitive activity, market dynamics and external information to help management understand the market dynamics and guide the company's decision-making process as appropriate.

Inter-relationships


  • Work closely with the Marketing leader to develop relevant sales and marketing initiatives.

  • Assist in the creation of pricing architecture, policies, terms and conditions.

  • Work collaboratively with Customer Service to holistically manage customer relationships.

  • Work collaboratively with Product Supply team to ensure world class service levels.

Achieve Targeted Business Results


  • Consistently achieve or exceed targeted sales, delivered profit margin, and functional expense goals.

  • Work closely with the finance leader and marketing leader to create profitable end user and distributor acquisitions.

Senior Management Team


  • Play a significant role in the development and execution of SCJP monthly, annual, and five-year plans.

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting for the professional markets.

  • Participate in SCJP initiatives when nominated to do so.

  • Active participant in all US Leadership team meetings.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field

  • 10+ years of relevant senior-level sales management experience, leading a sales organization focused on building and maintaining long-term and trusted relationships.

  • Cross functional experience, general management experience, and/or significant P&L accountability

  • Decisive strategic thinker, results-oriented, effective, and passionate leader, and team player who is motivated by the opportunity to lead growth and drive change in an organization.

  • Familiarity with Janitorial/Sanitation industry

JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Travel Required > 40%

  • Remote work is available once per week

  • This role is eligible for domestic/international relocation
