Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Owned Media Director to lead our owned channel strategy and execution across email, CRM/CDP, website, SMS, organic social, and content marketing initiatives. This strategic role will oversee the development and optimization of all owned media channels to drive engagement, retention, and revenue while building lasting relationships with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute digital marketing strategies across all owned channels (website, eCommerce, SEO, email, SMS, organic social media, phone and chat)
Lead SEO strategy including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content strategy
Own email marketing programs including automation, segmentation, and campaign optimization
Manage social media strategy and content calendar across all platforms
Monitor and analyze website performance, user behavior, and campaign metrics
Create and maintain marketing dashboards and regular performance reports
Optimize conversion rates across properties
Drive efforts to convert paid to owned media, increasing new customer counts, fostering retention and engagement, and lowering churn
Manage relationships with marketing agencies and vendors
Stay current with digital marketing trends and best practices
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, eCommerce or related field
5+ years of experience in digital marketing
Proven experience managing owned media channels
Strong knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
Experience with email marketing platforms and automation
Experience utilizing a CDP, customer data platform
Proficiency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.)
Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles
Technical Skills Required
Google Analytics (Google Analytics 4 certification preferred)
Email marketing platforms
SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar)
Social media management platforms
Marketing automation software
CRM/CDP platforms
Data visualization tools
HTML/CSS basics

Experience with marketing automation platforms and customer segmentation
Knowledge of marketing APIs and data integration
