The Senior Program Manager provides leadership, supervision, and quality oversight for Program Directors, Clinical Supervisor, and Nursing Supervisor in the assigned Developmental Services Programs. The Senior Program Manager participates in acquiring and maintaining contracts and works with funders and agency leaders to ensure adherence to performance specifications.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *
Ensures that services provided are of the highest quality, improve individual satisfaction, and meet the performance specifications of the funding sources.
Ensures that programs meet quality standards set by OQE (Office of Quality Enhancement) and other required regulatory bodies.
Utilizes data to inform decisions about care of the individuals, systems, and services.
Ensures the successful implementation of projects and services as project owner.
Responsible for ensuring the highest performance of all staff in assigned program(s).
Ensures programs are adequately staffed, monitors staff labor and overtime, and ensures efficiency of workforce.
Provides high quality supervision to Program Directors and other supervisors in the programs.
Develops, implements, and monitors administrative policies and procedures for DS division .
Develops, implements, and monitors annual budget, and makes modifications as needed.
Develops innovative programs and revenue sources, including development and fundraising.
Ensures that all staff are appropriately trained in all BHN and program-specific relevant policies and procedures.
Maintains positive, collaborative working relationships with BHN colleagues and with community partners.
Ensures staff meet the training and credentialing requirements of funders and regulators.
Attends all statewide, regional, and area meetings of funders and regulators to keep informed of regulatory changes and training requirements.
In consultation with the senior and middle management teams, ensures that training and credentialing meet the needs of the Developmental Services Program.
Works with program leadership to build and maintain a diverse program workforce, one reflective of the community served.
Ensures that program management and staff understand Social Justice concepts and work collaboratively to integrate these concepts into all aspects of service delivery.
PREPARATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Health, Social Work, Psychology or related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum of seven years supervisory experience in a related field (Business Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Psychology) with a minimum of 5 of those years supervisory experience in intellectual disabilities (required).
Demonstrated success in collaboration and integration efforts in partnership with external community entities.
Demonstrated experience with collecting and organizing data from various sources to inform client care and service delivery.
Strong data analysis skills including Excel, statistics, .......
Empathic skills and the ability to establish rapport with consumers, family members, and service providers.
Ability to participate in coordination and maintenance of budget.
Familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
