What will your role be?

Your role as a Quality Improvement Project Manager will be to lead and oversee projects that drive quality product improvements, quality control processes, and the successful implementation of change management strategies. You'll be responsible for managing cross-functional teams, ensuring process improvements, and maintaining the highest standards of product quality across the organization. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality of our operations.

Activities:
  • Lead quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance product quality, quality control, and process improvements
  • Develop and manage project plans to ensure timely execution while adhering to quality standards and cost efficiency
  • Establish and control project schedules using earned value management techniques, ensuring alignment with quality goals
  • Define and manage project deliverables, work breakdown structures, and associated timelines
  • Collaborate with key departments (Production, Quality, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering) to
  • implement process improvements and quality control measures
  • Utilize change management principles to effectively deploy quality initiatives and changes within the organization
  • Develop business cases using financial and operational data to support quality and process improvement projects
  • Track project milestones and KPIs, ensuring projects stay on track and meet quality expectations
  • Conduct regular reviews of project progress with senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Ensure project risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Oversee the execution of quality control processes and monitor product performance to ensure consistent quality standards
  • Provide leadership in continuous improvement efforts and foster a culture of quality across the organization
  • Develop and implement customer acceptance plans to ensure the delivery of quality products
  • Manage project resources effectively, ensuring collaboration and coordination across teams to meet quality improvement goals

What skills and qualifications are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Management (or related field)
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in quality management, project management, or process improvement roles
  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes and continuous improvement methodologies (such as Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement quality solutions
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to lead teams, motivate individuals, and drive collaboration toward quality objectives
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills with both internal stakeholders and customers
  • Experience with project management tools and software
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards
