We are working with a growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) specializing in biologics development and manufacturing across both microbial and mammalian platforms.
We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist in Upstream Process Development, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in cell culture and Repligen ATF perfusion (or process intensification) with expertise in process development, optimization, and scale-up. This role will focus on designing and optimizing upstream processes to enhance biologics production efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize upstream processes for biologics production using microbial and mammalian platforms.
Design and execute experiments to improve cell culture performance, including process intensification strategies.
Utilize Repligen ATF perfusion technology to enhance productivity and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technology transfer from development to manufacturing.
Analyze data, troubleshoot process challenges, and implement solutions to improve yield and efficiency.
Support scale-up activities from bench-scale to pilot and commercial production.
Maintain compliance with cGMP regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or related field.
1-2 years of hands-on experience in cell culture and process development.
Expertise in Repligen ATF perfusion technology or process intensification strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in process optimization.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
