Job Summary:
The Assistant to the Plant Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth plant operations by providing administrative, analytical, and operational support. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and data analysis to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Plant Manager in daily operations, scheduling, and production planning.
Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support decision-making.
Monitor inventory levels, procurement needs, and material usage.
Work closely with department leads to track KPIs and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
Coordinate communication between various teams, including engineering, logistics, and quality control.
Support health, safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Assist in workforce scheduling, performance tracking, and employee engagement activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Manufacturing Management, or a related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or analytical role.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI.
Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
