Position Summary
Independently lead onsite Quality Control Reviews for Consumer Bank with a primary focus on Banking Centers and Business Banking Teams to ensure compliance with bank policies, programs and procedures as well as state and federal regulations. Takes ownership of completion of Quality Control reviews and projects. Reviews bank policies, programs and procedures to ensure understanding and compliance. Compiles review findings and recommends revisions to systems and procedures as needed. Identify ways to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the QCR Program. Will work on various projects and administrative tasks as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Leads and conducts Quality Control Reviews of Banking Centers and Business Banking Teams. The reviews provide an evaluation of the adequacy of our internal control environment and operational effectiveness. Conclusions and results are based on appropriate analyses and evaluations and identify criticality of findings. Reviews are comprehensive and complete. Work papers and findings have been reviewed and are found to be sufficiently supported by documentation and data.
Ensures that results of the reviews are communicated adequately both verbally and via Salesforce. The Review includes conclusions, recommendations, as well as the analysts' overall opinion.
Coordinates and prepares review assignments to ensure completion of schedule, including periodic reviews, as agreed upon by the Quality Control Managing Director. Sensitivity to peak busy days and holidays is necessary.
Recommends modifications and updates to the Quality Control Review program to achieves objectives and ensure compliance with all regulations, policies and procedures. The Review work program has established the process for identifying, analyzing, evaluating, and recording information during the review.
Makes recommendations for revisions to systems, policies and procedures supported by data and appropriate reasoning.
Identify ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the QCR Program and related processes.
Appraises the adequacy of action plans taken by Banking Center management to correct reported deficient conditions. Responses from Banking Center management have been reviewed and noted as being adequate.
Interacts professionally with senior management and other departments to answer questions, and provide assistance, support and guidance that builds and sustains a productive work environment.
Collaborates with the Consumer Banking Operational Risk Management and Field Operations teams as needed.
Support and attend QCR Forum and other risk committees as needed.
Assist Quality Control Team members, Consumer Banking Operational Risk and others regarding opportunities and ad hoc projects.
Requirements
5+ years operations experience, including Banking Center experience.
Working knowledge of audit, accounting, and information technology.
Working knowledge of bank policy, banking center procedures, compliance and regulations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to influence others and establish and maintain collaborative relationships
Knowledge of banking products and services
Effective decision-maker
Strong interpersonal and team building skills
Results oriented
Highly organized and able to manage concurrent projects
Driver's license and ability to travel throughout bank's footprint
Working knowledge of Microsoft office product
Working knowledge of Salesforce SFC desired
Candidates with Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates with some combination of coursework and experience, or extensive related professional experience, are eligible for consideration
The estimated base salary range for this position is $90,000 USD to $101,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
