We are seeking a full-time Systems Test Engineer 2 in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting successful conception, development, and/or application of sophisticated Automotive OEM systems by providing system testing support for for AOEM programs and/or retrofit product lines.
Essential Functions
Provides system testing support for developmental requirements of OEM programs
Supports implementation of product updates (hardware and software)
Validates Customer system and functional requirements
Serves as the local expert in test systems and product functionality
Collaborates with process engineers and developers to streamline or modify test sequences
Ability to query / leverage data across multiple databases to evaluate trends in production data (SQL, Python, Java, C, C++)
Communicates status and schedule for the system testing needs applicable to planned deliveries
Provides feedback to development teams to ensure solutions are designed to meet system testing needs
Provides troubleshooting support to identify the system root cause
Provides clear and sufficient details on issues sufficient for internal or external customers
Identifies and implement improvements to system testing processes and guidance
Identifies improvements and modifies tools for use in system testing
May set up and operate 3rd party equipment
May Identify and coordinate updates and/or improvements to integration bench setups
Provides reliable solutions to a variety of problems using problem solving techniques
Applies a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities to develop timely solutions

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field AND a minimum of 1 year relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 as a general rule)
Demonstrates knowledge of several complex integrated functions
Demonstrates mastery of relevant tools for use in system testing
Demonstrates advanced troubleshooting skills
Must be team-oriented possess a positive attitude and work well with others
Desired Qualifications
Outstanding academics (cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.5)
