Our client is currently seeking a HR Manager for their manufacturing facility in Kansas City MO. This is a Union facility and the HR Manager needs some previous Union experience. This position will have 1 Direct Report Generalist. The Human Resources Manager will assist with developing and administering companywide human resources programs and policies including staffing, compensation, employee relations, benefits, labor relations, training, and health and safety. This position will have a strong emphasis on employee relations, including overseeing and providing guidance on employee coaching, corrective action, unemployment, and escalated employee complaints.

This job will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, and Retention while following all Federal, Local and Company requirements
Responsible along with leadership team for all Employee relations
Train site leadership on HR systems and practices
Oversee the execution of the Performance Management Process
Provide input to and support Total Rewards, Compensation and Benefit Programs
Identify training and development opportunities and support the implementation of improvement plans through coaching and feedback
Ensure HR systems maintain integrity and data accuracy
Support the culture and core values, drive engagement and overall positive employee experience through strong change management and communication
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development
5 years HR experience in a manufacturing organization.
SHRM / PHR certifications a plus.
Solid working knowledge of HR processes and related manufacturing.
Union Experience needed
