Our services are delivered safely and promptly in various locations such as homes, workplaces, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, correctional institutions, government clinics, and more. With over 35 years of combined operational experience, we serve clients in 40 states, offering consistency and economies of scale unmatched by regional providers.
The position is 100% mobile, requiring travel between patient locations or facilities to administer imaging services. A company car/van is provided for this purpose, along with a gas card.
Sonographer - General and Vascular Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer to deliver high-quality imaging services to patients in diverse healthcare settings, including nursing homes, home care facilities, correctional institutions, and other care environments within our service regions. Frequent travel using a company vehicle is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Self-dispatch or contact dispatch for daily assignments.
Arrive at scheduled locations on time or depart from home 30 minutes before the shift starts.
Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment at each site.
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams as ordered by physicians and transmit images for review by radiologists.
Regularly check voicemail for communications from facilities and stay in contact with dispatch every 30 minutes, as needed.
Adhere to the company dress code, including wearing the provided uniform, name tag, and carrying a company phone.
Respond to urgent communications within 15 minutes.
Attend required meetings and training sessions.
Required Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
Maintain valid certifications, health clearances, and operational documentation.
Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
Adhere to all workplace policies regarding substance use and background checks.
Demonstrate professionalism, strong organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to operate smartphones and computers for basic tasks (e.g., printing, scanning, emailing).
Familiarity with regional geography and travel routes.
Responsible for maintaining and reporting equipment status.
Willingness to train new technologists.
