Position Overview: Sanitation Supervisor



We are looking for a dedicated individual to oversee our sanitation processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety and sanitation standards. This role involves managing the sanitation team and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. This is a 3rd shift opportunity, and candidates must be open to working during these hours.



Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.


• Collaborate with the Production team to develop and implement sanitary procedures, training programs, and auditing tools.


• Oversee the cleaning of equipment, facilities, and work areas in coordination with other departments.


• Manage the internal sanitation program and maintain accurate records for regulatory audits.


• Supervise the sanitation team, including tracking time, handling disciplinary actions, and recognizing achievements.


• Ensure compliance with all sanitation safety requirements and standard operating procedures.


• Work with external vendors to enhance sanitation performance and cost-efficiency.


• Identify and resolve sanitation issues in collaboration with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams.


• Implement procedures to improve quality, efficiency, and safety.


• Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).


• Train and motivate staff in cleaning procedures and facility maintenance.


• Prepare for annual quality audits and other regulatory inspections.


• Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field(not required) or 5+ years in saniation supervision/management


• Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.


• Willingness to work rotating shift.


• Bilingual is a plus (English & Spanish)
