Starting at $45/hour

Hanford Post Acute, a premier skilled nursing facility serving the Visalia area, is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehab team on a per diem basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist


• Assist residents in improving strength, mobility, and functional abilities


• Monitor and document resident progress toward therapeutic goals


• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care


• Maintain accurate records in compliance with state, federal, and facility requirements


• Educate residents and families on exercises and mobility techniques


• Participate in team meetings and care planning as needed


• Ensure treatment areas are safe, clean, and properly equipped

• 
  Current California PTA license in good standing


• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program


• CPR certification (required or obtained upon hire)


• Experience in a SNF or geriatric care setting preferred


• Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills


• Familiarity with EMR systems (Casamba a plus)

• Competitive pay starting at $45/hour
