The Senior Contract Negotiation Analyst for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will play an integral role in partnering with the North America Commercial Operations (NACO) Sales organization to deliver successful proposals that help push the business forward. Primary responsibility includes focus on Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) master agreements, addendums and amendments.



This position is part of the Client Services department located in
Brea, CA

You will be a part of the Contract Development team and report to the Director of Contract Development responsible for overseeing the development and negotiation of complex contracts and proposals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:




  • Prepare complex, customized contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and pricing guidelines.


  • Collaborate with Sales to navigate objections and present alternative contract solutions to drive deal closures and deliver winning RFPs.


  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in proposal development and contract management.


  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, Legal, Pricing, subject matter experts, and customers.


  • Utilize DBS and project management skills to meet business-critical milestones.




The essential requirements of the job include:



  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years' experience with reading, drafting, and redlining commercial contracts OR Master's degree with 3+ years' experience with reading, drafting, and redlining commercial contracts

  • 3+ years working experience in a Sales Operations, Contracting, Quoting, Finance or Pricing role

  • 3+ years of experience partnering with Sales and Negotiation (driving business outcomes)

  • Ability to identify and mitigate potential financial risk in alignment with company strategy

  • Previous experience training, mentoring and influencing team members to achieve a common goal




It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:



  • Diagnostics / Life Sciences industry experience

  • Proficiency in project management

  • Engaging in cross-functional team collaboration



The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.



This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
