Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Expert Software Developer our NYS Information Technology Services Team located in Albany, NY (Hybrid).



Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create scripts for sql server databases


• Develop, maintain, and enhance ColdFusion applications


• Application testing


• Create and maintain documentation


• Assist with implementation and ITSM incidents

Experience Required:



84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

• 84 months experience developing ColdFusion applications.


• 60 months experience coding with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.


• 60 months experience writing queries, stored procedures, functions and creating views that integrate with ColdFusion applications.


• 48 months development experience in database design and object creation/modification of large databases consisting of 20 or more tables in SQL Server.

Desired Qualifications:

• 60 months experience designing and developing web user interfaces (UI).


• 24 months ASP.NET experience with C#.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range is $50.00 and $55.00.
