We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our Finance organization, focusing on tariff reporting and recovery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing tariff data, preparing reports, and developing strategies to optimize tariff recovery processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret tariff data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for recovery.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports on tariff performance, recovery metrics, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights necessary for effective tariff reporting and recovery strategies.
Develop and implement processes to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of tariff reporting.
Monitor changes in tariff regulations and assess their impact on the organization's financial performance.
Assist in the development of training materials and conduct training sessions for staff on tariff reporting and recovery processes.
Support the Finance team in budgeting and forecasting related to tariff impacts.
Provide recommendations for process improvements and best practices in tariff management.
Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal and external reporting standards.
Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably within a finance or regulatory environment.
Strong understanding of tariff structures, reporting requirements, and recovery processes.
Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
