The Project Administration Manager supports the financial, procurement planning, process-planning, processes and supports the overall Capex portfolio to increase the efficiency of the Capex project execution. This position supports a good standing in the community, sustainable operations, and adheres to and upholds all company policies, safety standards and federal / state regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities
Delivers to Sr. Director of projects and senior management the financial reporting and analysis to be used for strategic and tactical decision-making regarding the Capital expenditures.
Develop, interpret and implement financial and modeling concepts or techniques related to strategic planning, budgeting, Capital expenditures and forecasting to drive business results.
Analyzes financial and operational data on business and company performance, draws conclusions, and presents recommendations on decisions and actions to support the preparation of annual Capex budgets and forecasts for the business unit.
Works to fully understand the capex portfolio; identify and implement process and organizational improvements
Collaborates with Sr. Director of Projects and the Project Managers to compile, file, organize and prepare presentations of the Capital Expenditure Requests to be submitted to the SVP of Operations and QK senior leadership
Participates in cross-functional activities focused on solving business issues and enhancing our competitive advantage
Regularly communicate with the project managers to consolidate & organize quotes, CER's, vendor information and project details to present to QK management
Tracking and reporting To the Sr. Director of projects and individual project managers of project cash flow, quotes, PO's, invoices.
Leads, plans, and coordinates work teams in an efficient manner to effectively perform any financial & project portfolio function and activity; utilizes metrics to track performance of capital projects and manage workload.
Ability, Skills & Knowledge
Project Management background preferred..
Project portfolio management experience is preferred.
Ability to interpret financial data, assess risks, and make strategic decisions.
Ability to quickly identify financial issues and implementing solutions.
Financial Management acumen - Budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for projects.
Project Management using methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or PMP frameworks.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation by identifying and managing financial risks.
Understanding balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and compliance audits.
Ability to interpret financial statements and project performance metrics.
Knowledge of corporate budgeting to include Capital budgeting, financial planning, and investment strategies.
Understanding of Cost Control & Optimization and techniques to enhance financial efficiency in projects.
Due to the nature of this position, it is essential that the teammate be available to report to the designated work site / office and be ready to begin work when scheduled.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening which may include a physical, background check, and drug screen.
