IT Asset Management Administrator - 6 Month Contract Role

The Team

The Asset Management Administrator will be responsible for all aspects of IT Asset Management and day-to-day operations with a primary focus on requisitioning hardware assets which includes laptops, peripherals, and services with standard re-sellers as needed. Coordination with vendors for new models, catalog management and publishing new engineering approved standards. The Asset Management Administrator role is based in our Tampa office and will collaborate and work with the wider IT organization such as security, finance, engineering, real estate and other teams from a global perspective as needed.

How you will contribute


  • Hardware requisition process.

  • Accessory/peripheral ordering and stock management (US firm).

  • Hardware asset management forecasting & planning.

  • Hardware fulfillment.

  • Supply chain management.

  • Hardware distribution coordination & tracking with the re-seller.

  • Administrative liaison to A&M Engineering team for Engineering Proofs of Concept, dispatch of hardware, testing and validation requests.

  • Laptop vendor management.

  • Laptop model management administrative support.

  • Main Point of Contact for IT asset purchasing, inventory, and management.

  • Coordination with internal IT operations and firm Finance to ensure cost allocations are accurate and payments are processed.

  • Point of contact for re-seller relationship management.

  • ServiceNow ticket queue management.

  • Dispatch of hardware assets for PC Refresh, New Hires, Break fix, Platform swaps.

  • Laptop freight charge summary/reporting and allocations.

  • Shipping supplies ordering.

  • Other duties as necessary to support the IT asset management team.

Qualifications


  • Previous experience using an incident management/tracking system such as ServiceNow.

  • Experience in a professional services firm a plus.

  • Demonstrable experience within a similar role focused on supply chain management and purchasing.

  • Strong financial analytical skills and attention to detail for chargebacks.

  • An understanding of IT Asset Management lifecycle processes and tools.

  • Experience in request fulfillment within an ITIL-based organization.

  • Knowledge of general procurement procedures and policies.

  • Knowledge and exposure to IT hardware (laptops) lifecycle management.

  • Advanced problem-solving skills that can be applied to situations and problem resolution.

  • Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Strong all-around Microsoft Office skills.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels.

  • Being an all-around team player, a people person, and able to work in an open fast paced environment.

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented constantly looking to make improvements to drive efficiency.
