We're hiring a Card Operations Specialist I to join our Digital Operations Team.
Serve as a member of a team, partnering effectively to drive results under variable circumstances
Work with internal departments and external customers to answer inquires and troubleshoot issues relating to cards, ATM processing, and debit card fraud management
Ability to quickly assess the likelihood of fraudulent situations and answer accordingly
Manage workflow for centralized card adds and maintenance and assist the Financial Centers with instant issue to ensure critical functions are handled accurately and timely
Assist vendor performance for delivery and problem resolution (examples inCPI Card Group, MasterCard, Jack Henry, NCR, Triton, Diebold)
Proactive fraud monitoring, identifying and escalating non-routine issues and exceptions, such as potential fraud situations and suspicious activity
Support new branch openings and closures for card functions
Provide recommendations and implement process changes to improve efficiency and reduce operational expenses
Provide backup assistance for other Team members
Accountable for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma (or GED equivalent) with 2-3 years of experience in a financial institution
Knowledge of Univest operating policies, procedures and State / Federal banking regulations with special emphasis on Regulation E compliance
Good customer service, written and verbal communication, and telephone skills
Must be well organized, detail oriented, analytical, and able to communicate effectively across internal departments and with external customers
Ability to work within a team environment to accomplish multiple priorities
Act as a change agent, demonstrating a willingness to adapt to and improve systems, procedures, and business areas
Prior experience with Jack Henry, Synergy, and industry specific software a plus
Proven ability to make decisions to protect customers and corporate resources when presented with appropriate data, relying on little to no supervision and in the presence of looming deadlines
Wage Range:
The salary for this position ranges from $18.00 to $24.00 hourly
