We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team in a fast-paced, phone-intensive role. This position primarily involves retrieving medical records through frequent phone, email, and fax communication, with a strong focus on customer service and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct high-volume outreach to healthcare facilities (70-80+ calls per day) to request and follow up on medical records.
Send medical authorization forms via fax and track the progress of these requests.
Perform initial and ongoing data entry related to medical record requests.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all client interactions within our internal database.
Ensure all client data and communications are handled with the highest level of confidentiality.
Adhere to established protocols and instructions while delivering professional and effective communication.
What We're Looking For:
1-2 years of experience in an office or customer service environment.
Prior exposure to electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus but not required.
A dependable self-starter who is comfortable spending most of the day on the phone.
Strong attention to confidentiality and detail, with the ability to work independently and follow procedures accurately.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Position Details:
Hourly Rate: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (with a paid lunch); Friday, 8:00 AM-12:00 PM (Full 40-hour work week)
Location: This is a fully in-office role located in Bloomington
