What You Need to Know
Genesis Products is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for our TFL wood processing manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional responsible for preserving the condition and functionality of equipment and premises in a high-performance industrial environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:

• Performing highly skilled mechanical maintenance tasks


• Conducting electrical troubleshooting and equipment repairs


• Executing facility maintenance tasks


• Operating and maintaining complex industrial systems


• Performing preventative maintenance on processing equipment


• Observing and reporting needed repairs


• Maintaining accurate maintenance records


• Adhering to all safety and environmental guidelines

Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate should possess:

• Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience 


• Strong experience with high-pressure thermal oil press operations


• Proficiency with Siemens logic controllers and VFD systems (including Lenze)


• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems


• Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and machine diagrams


• Experience with electro-mechanical systems (motors, relays, gear boxes)


• Welding and fabrication skills


• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities


• Excellent communication skills


• Basic MS Office proficiency


• Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions


• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
