What You Need to Know Genesis Products is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician for our TFL wood processing manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled professional responsible for preserving the condition and functionality of equipment and premises in a high-performance industrial environment. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for:
Conducting electrical troubleshooting and equipment repairs
Executing facility maintenance tasks
Operating and maintaining complex industrial systems
Performing preventative maintenance on processing equipment
Observing and reporting needed repairs
Maintaining accurate maintenance records
Adhering to all safety and environmental guidelines
Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate should possess:
Minimum 4 years of industrial maintenance experience
Strong experience with high-pressure thermal oil press operations
Proficiency with Siemens logic controllers and VFD systems (including Lenze)
Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and machine diagrams
Experience with electro-mechanical systems (motors, relays, gear boxes)
Welding and fabrication skills
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities
Excellent communication skills
Basic MS Office proficiency
Physical capability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
