Job Purpose:

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to

manufacture high-precision components used in pharmaceutical production. Experience in machining

stainless steel, aluminum, plastic, composite, and other materials used in pharmaceutical equipment, ensuring

adherence to strict quality and regulatory standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

? Follow all SOP and cGMP guidelines set forth by Nephron Pharmaceuticals.

? Design, make and reverse engineer components to support plant production requirements.

? Ability to work with multiple departments to develop cost effective solutions per their unique needs and focus

on fast turnaround of components for production equipment.

? Assist in performing maintenance and repairs on Blow/ Fill/ Seal (BFS) equipment as needed.

? Follow documentation procedures when designing, manufacturing and optimizing components.

? Assist with additional duties or responsibilities as evident or required to support production.

? Design and develop Equipment changes with new product implementation projects.

? Support Nephron BFS Mold Management

Job Specifications and Qualifications:

Skills:

? Well established Mechanical understanding required.

? Operating machinery using conventional or CAD/CAM software.

? Organizing and maintaining tooling, needed with specific machinery.

? Written and verbal communication via in-person, phone, and email.

? Basic knowledge in MicroSoft Works, to include Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.

? Experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry preferred.

? A knowledge base that includes the following: blue print reading, geometric tolerances, conventional and

advanced machining skills, the ability to comprehend complex assemblies, and mold component fitments.

Abilities:

? Time management skills with ability to execute on short-term and long-term deliverables.

? Ability to combine Industry knowledge to appropriately evaluate and resolve complex issues within a fast paced

and changing business environment.

? Ability to professionally communicate with other employees and management through complex, difficult, and

potentially emotional issues.

? Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that

is consistent with applicable standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or government law.

? Ability to effectively work with limited supervision to accomplish goals or schedules set forth by a supervisor or

production requirements.

? Ability to speak/ read/write English and pass a Mechanical Ability Test.

? Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, act with a high level of integrity, diplomacy, discretion and emotional

intelligence.

? Ability to develop positive, professional relationships with senior leadership and peers in a heavily matrixed

environment;

Education/Experience:

? Machine Tool Technology degree or a related field in Manufacturing and Design.

Licensing and Certifications:

? NIMS Certifications preferred.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

? Crawl, stoop to floor, reach (waist to overhead), bend (arm to floor), climb (floor to ceiling), lift (up to 50lbs),

Stand / Sit for extended periods of time if required.

? Wear PPE equipment as necessary. ** Incumbents may be exposed to the following environmental factors: heat,

cold, and water.
