Director of Engineering Responsibilities
Responsible for the development of new products.
Management of engineering personnel, budgets, capital plans and other required resources.
Build, develop, and lead the Engineering department to ensure that company goals and objectives are achieved
Coordination of design, development and release efforts with the entire organization through the use of New Product
Introduction process (NPI), Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
Perform as principal manager and liaison for the above efforts.
Actively participate in the worldwide corporate sales and marketing efforts with existing and proposed technical, product, and engineering support solutions.
Establish the annual engineering budget and performance measures
Develop and support a culture of continuous improvement and best practices within the department and across the Company with time limitations and funding
Develop an environment of continual improvement through the use of Lean tools.
Be able to explain key concepts of the Quality Policy, Quality Goals, and complete requirements from ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) training.
Execute talent management activities with direct reports.

Possess the leadership, communication, managerial, and interpersonal skills necessary to be effective within the organization
Ability to function as a leader in a team environment
Principles of Agile and Lean
B.S. degree in Engineering, minimum.
Proven experience in leading the development and/or manufacturing operations of a highly successful electronics or electronics-related business, with an emphasis on the RF and communications industries.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills with the ability to mentor others.
Excellent presentation skills with the ability to interface with external organizations and customers on business and technical levels.
