The Electrical Project Manager will lead large-scale data center construction projects. This role requires a strong technical background in power distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, and critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing electrical scopes, subcontractors, schedules, and budgets while ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all electrical aspects of data center construction projects, from pre-construction to closeout.
Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor performance.
Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment with project goals.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety standards, and client specifications.
Drive quality control, risk management, and cost control initiatives.
Lead project meetings, provide technical support, and resolve field issues.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to optimize costs and materials availability.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in electrical construction project management, experience with data centers or mission-critical facilities.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of power systems, generators, UPS, switchgear, and electrical distribution.
Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or similar).
Valid Electrical License on Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
